well, firstly, my granddad died wednesday 11th, which sucks. never actually had anyone i really know dies before, so this is kind of a new thing for me. the funeral is this wednesday, sand all the family will be there, so itll be nice seeing my cousins and stfuf, cos its been a while. we're all going out for dinner at a little restaurant in the middle of nowhere that weve been to once bfore, so thatll be nice.
Ive scrapped the whole university idea, cos my January module grades were awful (2 Es and 2 Us...), so im applying for a part-time job at Stoke Mandeville hospital working as a trainee physiotherapist to get some money for driving lessons. When i have a driving license, ill work towards my C1 license, so i can drive vans etc, and apply for a job in the ambulance service. i was going to go straight there, but you need to have a C1 lisence, and so i need a job for the money for driving lessons to get it first. I finished the application half an hour ago, so im just waiting for mum to come home so she can check it and i can send it off. all very exciting.
Mums currently down A&E with a friend of ours who collapsed at church. shes OK, but we had a nurse, a Doctor and a first aid qualified policeman in the congregation who all advised her to go to A&E, so against her protests, mum came and fetched the car to take her. Her son went with them, and they should all be coming back here for dinner. last we knew, they were still sitting in the waiting room while the hospital took their own sweet time getting round to them. dont you just love hospitals? hopefully theyll all be back for dinner, since its on schedule for 6pm, and roast dinners suck warmed yp in the microwave.
well, nothign much else that exciting has happened atm, so ill end here and write an update soemtime in the future when something happens...
Bobby
